Author Sherry Kelly is devoted to God and family, and she has always held a special love for children, nature and animals.  While attending college in Illinois, she worked at an animal preserve feeding and caring for a variety of wildlife.  While raising her family she took care of foster babies in her home and is now a retired Parent Educator.
Sherry has penned three very different books. The writing of her first book, A Cat Named Zooby, was unplanned and began as a therapeutic way of dealing with the trauma of Zooby’s horrible accident. She was keeping a scrapbook journal about the experience and when it was completed, it was a book. When it became published, Sherry was encouraged to go back and write the parenting book that she had envisioned and written an outline for years earlier while working as a parent educator. The book is titled Your New Baby’s Instruction Book, and is the ideal gift for expectant parents or parents of newborns. Her third book is The Big Life of a Little Man: Michael Dunn Remembered, and it is a story Sherry thought was just waiting to be told. It is about the amazing life lived by her first cousin who was a famous actor in the 70s and 80s.
Sherry and her husband, Don, live in Yukon, Oklahoma. They have three adult children, eight grandchildren, and a cat named Zooby.
