Author Sherry Kelly is devoted to God and family, and she
has always held a special love for children, nature and animals.While attending college in Illinois, she worked at an animal preserve
feeding and caring for a variety of wildlife.While raising her family she took care of foster babies in her home and
is now a retired Parent Educator. Sherry has penned three very different books. The writing of
her first book, A Cat Named Zooby, was unplanned and began as a therapeutic way
of dealing with the trauma of Zooby’s horrible accident. She was keeping a
scrapbook journal about the experience and when it was completed, it was a
book. When it became published, Sherry was encouraged to go back and write the
parenting book that she had envisioned and written an outline for years earlier
while working as a parent educator. The book is titled Your New Baby’s Instruction Book,and is the ideal gift for expectant
parents or parents of newborns. Her third book is The Big Life of a Little Man:
Michael Dunn Remembered, and it is a story Sherry thought was just
waiting to be told. It is about the amazing life lived by her first cousin who
was a famous actor in the 70s and 80s. Sherry and her husband, Don, live in Yukon, Oklahoma.
They have three adult children, eight grandchildren, and a cat named Zooby.
