         Oklahoma author and quilter Nita Beshear has combined her two interests in her book, "Devoted to Quilting."

           Nita's book of devotionals are for quilters at all ability levels and also for lovers of quilts. From the quilt spectator to the quilting professional, a quilt is more than a simple coverlet. The process of creating a quilt provides moments of frustration, fear, stress, fun, or adventure. For the quilt spectator or recipient, the quilt offers memories of these same feelings or memories of these emotional times.

         Nita is a mom to three children and grandmom to six fabulous grandchildren. She has long enjoyed making quilts for her family.
        A closet teacher, she enjoys writing nonfiction and giving presentation about her areas of knowledge.
        She lives in southeast Oklahoma, miles form most civilization, between three small towns.
       Nita is currently working on her first fiction manuscript.
