Linda E. Allen
Linda Allen is author
of numerous books, magazine articles, and essays with honors from the Society
for Professional Journalists and Writer’s Digest. Decking the Halls – The Traditions and Folklore of Christmas Plants was a finalist for the 2001 Benjamin Franklin Award for history. A companion book, Menagerie at the Manger, was named the 2007 Book of the Season for The Book Bank Foundation. Both books have received acclaim as gift and reference books for Christmas services and programs. She is past president and vice president of the Stillwater Writers’ Group.
